What are I-REC’s?
I-REC’s (International Renewable Energy Certificates) are certificates that prove the use of renewable energy within a global system that enables its trade. Through its platform, companies can guarantee that the energy they consume comes from renewable sources and, therefore, is clean.
What does Embrasca have to do with I-REC’s?
We are one of the players in the international market and participants in The International REC Standard, a non-profit association headquartered in the Netherlands that regulates and establishes criteria for issuing and transferring I-REC’S.
We register, certify, generate and commercialize “I-RECs” used by companies that need to use these certifications to prove their activities in terms of energy.
